How many millions of technology-based products will be whisked off the shelves and packed into recyclable boxes by robots (and people!) this Christmas? Some products are undeniably beneficial, whilst others are simply desirable. So, what would I buy if I put together my Technology Photographer’s Christmas list? My driving force behind purchases is all about beautiful technology, it’s fun factor and its usefulness!
Eye-catching brand product photography
As an advertising photographer that loves shooting technology products, I also tend to scrutinise the packaging. Eye-catching brand packaging photography – part of my remit – is crucial to make your product both memorable and easy to spot amidst other similar products on the shelves.
My Technology Photographer’s Christmas List
It’s almost Christmas! So for a bit of fun during this festive season, here’s my Christmas wish list:
(Remember, other products are available!)
1 – The Vintage Electric Outlaw Tracker both looks amazing and will whizz you around town, getting you envious looks. An E-Bike produced by Rod Emory, is imbued with all the nostalgia of classic Porsche design.
2 – Next, the AfterShokz Trekz Air is a bone conduction headphone set, chosen for its ergonomic design, tactile material texture and top sporting usefulness.
3 – The Arrow Smartwatch with 360° rotating camera looks pretty handy to have around – quite literally! It tracks your workout performances and captures those magic moments along the way.
4 – Finally, I want to return to my smart home! I’d love technology products all working in perfect harmony – a house that responds to my presence, remembers what lighting I like with what music. A house that wakes me up in the morning with a warming light and my favourite coffee freshly brewed. Naturally, the house will self-govern its energy use to be as carbon neutral as possible.
5 – Lastly, the ultimate product on my technology photographer’s Christmas list would be one that takes the weight off my shoulders, significantly frees up my time, doesn’t need charging constantly, and that sets itself up straight out of the box … if you know what that is, please let me know!
Cheers for now.
